Mold Assessor Refresher

Course Description:

In this NYS Mold Assessor Refresher Course, students will receive recertification to perform mold assessments and design and write remediation plans for mold remediation/abatement projects in the state of New York. The course reviews mold health hazards, biological sampling and best mold assessment practices from preparation to cleanup. 

New York State regulations require any individual performing mold assessment to attend an accredited assessor training program and remain up to date on refresher courses every two years. A Mold Assessor must have a valid certificate or a copy of their certificate with them at all times while working on the project. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate of re-accreditation as a Mold Assessor.
